After completing her master's degree at the Anton Bruckner Private University in 2018, Judith Schwarz has been working nationally and internationally as a drummer and composer in the field of jazz and improvised music. Judith is active as an instrumentalist, bandleader and composer in the following projects: Other:M:other, chuffDRONE, Beyond the Beat, Little Rosies Kindergarten, Schülande Engaling, Duo Hofmaninger/Schwarz, Mel*E. She has collaborated with Maria Portugal, Sylvie Courvoisier, Angelika Niescier and Peter Ponger. Manu Mayr is a vienna-born bass player, composer & producer. The exploration and connection of the most diverse sound worlds and their sociotopes can be described as the core of his creative work. In doing so, he deals with the numerous currents of contemporary music creation. From the interpretation of new music to experimental electronics, improvisation, jazz and pop. performing at renowned festivals all over the globe in various contexts as co-leader, solo artist or sideman. He is a founding member of 5K HD, Kompost 3, and member of Synesthetic 4 and Studio Dan. For their first collaboration, Judith and Manu create diverse soundscapes by playing drums and double bass, from subtle to energetic. Two masters of their craft in top form.
