Sharing a common passion for abrasive textures, deconstructed rhythms, enveloping and dense layers, this album, presented as a single track, is a distinct entity, an ageless and lush exploration, at times contemplative and airy, at times impetuous and massive. It is the result of a thoughtful yet instinctive composition process. To add a particular dimension to "The Absurd Silence of a Mute World," the duo enlisted drummer and percussionist Michael Anklin, who left his mark with a sensitivity that matches his virtuosity, imprinting his haunting rhythmic textures to beautiful effect. They also added two guest vocalists, Hemlock Smith & Mütterlein, two strong personalities each with their own universe who managed to seize the protean beast, giving it a primal and emotionally striking imprint.
