OJERUM (JERUM) — Everything wounded will flow
More Info
MIDIRA RECORDS ABOUT THE ALBUM:
After releasing Selv I Drmme Lyser Den Frste Sne and 7 Sjle jeRum returns to Midira Records, with a new album, called Everything Wounded Will Flow.
This time jeRum takes us on a journey through acoustic ambient sounds, using an old Harmonium played and recorded in a place somewhere out in the Danish countryside. The result is a four-piece album with floating and crackling sounds, emerging into reverberant tracks.
We were impressed from the first moment we listened to those warm sounds jeRum created with this very special instrument. All mastered by Aidan Baker, focussing on every sound detail.
The gatefold artwork consists of four collages made by jeRum. All pressed on 180g vinyl in 100 unique patternings using transparent red and solid black vinyl to create a stunning galaxy effect.
JERUM ABOUT THE ALBUM:
Recorded solely on an antique Mannborg Harmonium Everything Wounded Will Flow is an exercise in minimalism, repetition and restraint. The album unfolds as an imaginary four-part story of a wounded entity moving through various stages of introspection, dissociation, healing and decline.
