The works originally appeared on vinyl in 1986 and 1998 respectively. The double CD is jointly released be Die Stadt and aufabwegen forms part of the Asmus Tietchens reissue series. The double CD features two short bonus tracks plus a lengthy text by Terry Burrows explaining how the collaboration came about."
