It was curated by Micah Silver and commissioned by Empac (Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center) in Troy, New York. It was created at Mobile Messor (Amsterdam, Troy) with original non-transformed rainforest recordings, and premiered in April 2011 with a specially designed ad hoc double-dome array of 82 speakers in the large Empac concert hall.
