For a drone record that isn't the negative that it can be for many other types of music as it allows the musician to focus on and hone a single aesthetic to create a defined and monolithic work. Eluder spends a full hour exploring the intersection of lurching and despondent bass rumblings and the flecks of high end digital distortion that may rise to the surface. At many moments throughout the album "Through Horizon" possesses the restraint of early Eluvium and the shrouded mystery of Seasons (Pre-Din) with a confident, dedicated voice.
