Field recordings for track 8 and 9 were carried out at the harbour of Hamburg, Germany, as well as at the shores of Lower Normandy and in the countryside around Caen, especially the bridges trespassing the canal between Caen and the sea." Guido Hbner, Ex-Berliner und seit ber zwei Jahrzehnten ununterbrochener Noisebastler, kommt tatschlich mit einem neuen Album auf richtig fertiger CD und obendrein auf dem Label, das uns bisher lediglich bzw. fett selbstbewut ein Album der New Blockaders auftischen konnte. Neulich kamen schon mir leider unbekannte DSM-Kompositionen auf Vinyl-On-Demand, die CD aber, soviel lt sich sagen, knpft definitiv an DSMs frhere Versuche an, Form vllig aufzulsen, bevor sie sich als greifbar und folglich interpretierbar entblt. All die tausend kleinen, dreckigen noises passen ganz sicher auf eine CD, das steht fest. Aber Hbners einzigartige Anordnung dieser Unjuwelen an sound (eine Anordung brigens, die offenbar ohne Wiederholung auskommen will) bertrifft ganz sicher alle banalen Versuche, die Harmonie zwischen diesen unvereinbaren Geruschen auszumachen. Form ist immer Harmonie und somit Mittelma. Vielleicht ist es genau dieser Gedanke, den DSM in uns wachrtteln wollen; und natrlich gelingt es ihnen perfekt. [Ed Benndorf , de:bug]
