"During her 25 years spanning career she has pioneered the creation of site specific sound, light environments, sound sculptures and sound installations. The roots of her abstract sound realities began with the intense collaboration with Italian visual artist FABRIZIO PLESSI in 1973 and are presented here in the first of two archival releases. The sounds of unusual instruments like water, swanee whistle, contact microphone on ventilator, waterjet on steeldrum etc. were sonically blown up. The 4 pieces on this 1977 release alternate between heavenly shifting rhythmic drones and gamelan tinged blistering electronics. The entire album is an organic revelation of the discreet acoustic nature of everyday objects. Comes with a 24 page booklet." [label info]
