At times, the two artists alternate tracks, giving the other an opportunity to showcase their unique talents independently. Then these colossal giants conspire, curiously improvising and feeding off the creative energy they’ve provided one another. The epitome of Pigs of the Roman Empire has to be the nearly 23-minute long title track. Consider it the demonic backbone of what The Melvins and Lustmord had in mind for this particular recording.
