Neues Werk des guten (politischen) französischen experimental-drone-Projekts, hier werden schneidende digital-drones mit minimalen dark ambient Sphären verbunden. Sehr düsterer, isolationistischer Sound.. well done work!

“ Up until this 3rd release by the great and ever rising powerhouse label DOCTSECT, I've never heard of Liquid Sphere before. Fronted by a Frenchman named Laurent Guerrier, Liquid Sphere offers an exemplary performance in modern dark ambient. Mixing contemporary digital technics with fundamentalist analogue ideals to create fantasic minimalist drones as well as intricate dark ambient structures, "Blissful World" seems to take political qualities from that of Soldnergeist with it's anti-establishment messages and somehow crunched them together with the subtle artistic sophistication of something released on raster-noton. 13 well crafted, strategized, and lengthy tracks that would appeal to any Inade or even Mika Vaino fan. Collapsing drones, cut up voices, and manipulated rumbles take the listener from comfort to uneasiness in a well thought out construction. But be warned this CD has some abrupt tricks up it's sleeve. A couple of the tracks really throw you for a loop with their increase to sheer volume terror. But luckily brings you back down gently in order to get back to that meditative drone state to which most of this CD has to offer. A lot of dark ambient as of most recently seems to be missing what "Blissful World" definitely has harnessed upon it's first listen. That being a focus on details & total overall quality. This CD is a bench marker my friends. A new standard in modern dark ambient” [Digital Scene-review]
