Zweite Label-Compilation des portugiesischen Trance-Elektronik- & Ambient-Labels, wieder mit sehr gutem & exklusivem Material, von RAS.AL.GHUL, DITHER, MIMETIC, AH CAMA-SOTZ, THIS MORN OMINA, ULTRA MILKMAIDS, SIEBEN, MLADA FRONTA, RAPOON, und anderen, und das zum cheapo-price !
The second compilation from this inspirational Portuguese label brings together 13 tracks from a variety of European artists. Ras.al.ghul once again proves what a class act he is on the dreamy, sparkling percussive opener Time Of Flight, swiftly followed by the brutal jungle drums of Spies-Implant Instead Of, beautifully dragging burbling analogue electronica into the amazon. The album is also littered with quality atmospheric tracks, such as Dither (e), who puncture the album with some gritty, abrasive industrial shards that will set your teeth on edge and Ah Cama-Sotz, who delight in simulating a desolate landscape of futuristic angst on the hugely spacious Zaran Tulah. By now the compilation is certainly tilting towards an industrial style, as This Morn Omnia realise on the crushing, juddering beats of One Eyed Man. Its clockwork electro programming and militaristic vocal samples dragging you back to nazi Germany with punishing effectiveness. Sunwolf lower the tempo considerably on the introspective, ambient Anthology, as do Sieben on the wonderfully downtempo Luso In My Heart, a brooding, sultry mixture of electronica and classical strings. Mlada Fronta break the ice once again with the frenetic no and Rapoon close the album on the middle-eastern influenced Shakaah. Once again, the relatively new Thisco label have provided an interesting mix of experimental and innovative artists, surpassing an already impressive debut compilation, which is no easy thing for a label to do in such a short time span.
