More Info

"In the late summer of 2014 John Everall, dying of terminal cancer, set out to complete his carefully conceived concept of Tactile’s sound. During a few intensive recording sessions he accomplished a sonic outpouring in the midst of an extreme physical and emotional condition.

A steadily progressing tonal noise weaves around a gently shifting rhythmic core. The resonating purity of contrasting waveforms from two analogue synths combine into a truly immersive listening experience.

This is the sixth full-length Tactile release, issued one year after he left this planet by his executors at the Sentrax Corporation. Featuring evocative cover art by Pete Greening and precise mastering from Gregg Janman at Hermetech, in accordance with John’s instructions.

John lived his everyday life in awe of the colossal vastness of the universe. The unremitting fear and overwhelming anxiety of these internalised experiences are coherently expressed in his electronic compositions. He remains an acknowledged master of the genre and a genuine legendary figure in the UK’s underground." [label info]
