"Rhythmic drones with a dark mood in many colors make this Hands To record set different from the sparse abstraction of later work. These are early recordings from just after the City of Worms period in the early 1990's, that show a lot of hidden qualities that reward repeated listening. These sounds are built from loops and sonic degradations based on some specific sources that are mentioned in the notes along with images. This record was originally planned for release in the early nineties, but Petri Supply was forced to shelve the project, and it was never released in an official edition until 2009. The LP is presented on two separate platters, with one side on each. This has been done to help a DJ or active listener to play it on two tables at once if desired. A lot of artwork is included for an immersion experience. The Flatline concept is an acoustic treatment process created by Jeph Jerman." [Pastysurprise]
